Mr. Anthony Chestnut has over 25 years of professional consulting and auditing experience in advisory services, assurance, attestation, and business process re-engineering. He has broad experience in providing technical services to Federal clients including financial and operation and information technology audits, compliance testing, grants management, and enterprise risk management. He has also provided IT assurance services such as security testing and evaluation, system impact analysis, and vulnerability assessments.

Mr. Chestnut has worked at global firms such as IBM and PricewaterhouseCoopers and his career encompasses key positions including Project Director, Project Executive, Team Lead and Quality Assurance for teams conducting internal control reviews, compliance reviews, grant management, financial reporting, financial strategy and performance audits.

Mr. Chestnut has managed large engagements assisting multiple Federal Agencies with streamlining business processes, enhancing control environment and offering innovative solutions. He leverages his experience to offer value added solutions and best business practices. Mr. Chestnut is an innovator thinker and participates in professional organizations such as Association of Government Accountants and Information System Audit and Control Association to strategize and exchange ideas regarding accounting, information technology and enhanced practices within Federal, State and Local government.  Mr. Chestnut has developed several white papers relating to current federal activity and issues such as “Grants Management Closeouts”; “Improper Payments” and “Analytics.

Mr. Chestnut earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from North Carolina A&T State University.
