For over 15
years DMS staff has managed the overall financial operations including
fiscal and strategic planning support to small businesses that contract
with the federal government for a variety of services. DMS has participated
in the executive management of technical as well as financial aspects
of these organizations. This level of support provides the president
and other executive staff of these businesses with the financial
and management tools/programs that allows them to focus on fiscal
and strategic growth.
We build a corporate understanding of the intersection between financial
and fiscal management, accounting, and contracts management.
The financial management services include: financial system and
process assessments in order to identify inefficiencies; assessment
of the integrity of financial data; and improvement of operating
effectiveness, controls and performance. We assist the client in
implementing corrective action, in documenting existing processes,
and in new more productive processes.
DMS will assess
and improve the reporting of current financial analysis to develop
customized, reporting formats. Examples of reports include pro-forma
financial reports, indirect rate trends, budget comparisons, income
and expenditure trend analysis, cash flow projections, cash position
reports (Daily/Weekly), operating ratio analysis, capital requirements
determination, variance analysis, and cost center analysis.
